How each session runs

FAQs for managers & event organisers
Our sessions will reduce your workload and guarantee success!
➤ Where are the sessions held? Most sessions are held at the workplace. We have some bars/pubs of choice in Sydney if you’d prefer to have the event at a licensed venue. Some teams hire their own venues - such as a conference room at a hotel. We can provide a venue list on request.
➤ How much space is required? Enough space for everyone in the room to be on their feet. We typically require a room with all furniture (such as tables and chairs) removed from the centre and placed against the walls.
➤ Is 60, 90 or 120 minutes best? For sessions with less than under 20 people, we typically recommend 90 minutes. For larger teams, we recommend 120 minutes. There is a 5-minute break midway through the 90 and 120-minute sessions. For teams with limited availability, we have a 60-minute option available as well!
➤ What time of the day are most sessions? Often teams prefer the session to be held first thing in the morning, or just before a break - such as just before lunch or in the early afternoon just before work drinks.
➤ What are the benefits of the sessions? The activities are aligned with strategic communication benefits including quick thinking, improved presentations, greater confidence with stakeholders, active listening, improved collaboration, and much more.
➤ Can we combine this with our work party? Absolutely! Most of the games require two hands, so participants might find it easiest to eat and drink before or after the session.
➤ What if my team is scared to do this kind of activity? We get this question all the time. The session is designed specifically so that everyone can have fun in a judgement-free environment. We’ve run these sessions for hundreds of teams, and are confident your team will have a fantastic time.
➤ What if my team is full of introverts? Perfect! They’ll love it. We generally find that the more ‘introverted’ teams have even more fun than the so-called ‘extroverted’ teams. Some of our favourite sessions have been with accounting and IT teams.
